This mediator significantly enhances the electrodes' compatibility with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP), enabling remarkably accurate detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) at low potentials.

Upcoming Event: II Meeting of GCTbA (Zaragoza, Spain, June 27-28, 2023)

MicruX sponsors the II Scientific Meeting of the Specialized Group in (Bio)Analytical Science and Technologies to be held in Zaragoza, Spain, from June 27th to 28th, 2023. This event will be held within the framework of the XXXIX Biennial Meeting of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistryy (RSEQ), also taking place in Zaragoza from June 25th to 29th, 2023.

New Graphene-based Screen-printed Electrodes

MicruX is excited to announce the availability of our new graphene-based screen-printed electrodes. These electrodes are fabricated on flexible PET and rigid ceramic substrates, offering a low electrical resistance and good scratch resistance. These features make them ideal for use in a wide range of applications, including low-cost chemical sensors and biosensors for field analysis.

But that's not all! This year, MicruX has also brought gold-based screen-printed electrodes, which are also suitable for the development of chemical sensors and biosensors based on self-assembly monolayers (SAM) and other electroanalytical applications.

New Ultra-compact ECSens Potentiostat

February ends with the introduction of a new product, the ECSens ultra-compact potentiostat (ref. ECSENS100)! It is the most compact and affordable electrochemical sensing interface, that has been specially design to use screen-printed electrodes or other sensors available in the market. ECSens is a first-class entry level potentiostat for basic electrochemical studies, development of biosensors and many other applications.

MicruX ECSens includes the most common electroanalytical techniques: voltammetry and amperometry, allowing a true on-site analysis. The device is fully-controlled from a PC by a graphical user interface, MicruX EC Manager Lite. Moreover, ECSens offers multiplexing possibilities.

New Dual Screen-printed Electrodes

New year starts with a new product reference of screen-printed electrodes (ref. ED-D2PE-C)!!! They are fabricated by printing technologies on a flexible and high resist PET substrate. These low-cost and disposable electrochemical sensors enable the use of small sample volumes as well as multiplexing applications. The dual screen-printed electrode consists of planar dual-working electrodes suitable for simultaneous detection sharing the reference and auxiliary electrodes.

The new sensors are compatible with all the current connectors and platforms available for thick-film electrodes, such as the SPE cable (Ref.  ED-SPE-Cable), SPE connector box (Ref. ED-SPE-BOX) and the AIO-SPE platform (Ref. ED-AIO-SPE). So, if you are already using MicruX thick-film electrodes, you do not need any additional accessories to start trying them.

Dual-Electrodes

Currently, these electrodes are on promotion. Special Electrode Pack consisting on: 50 printed electrodes (Ref. ED-S1PE-C or ED-D2PE-C) acquired with a connector (Ref. Participation in International R&D Programs 2021 – T-CHROMA

The international proposal “TUNABLE CHROMATOGRAPHIC SUPPORTS: TOWARDS REVOLUTIONARY ANALYTICAL SEPARATION DEVICES (T-CHROMA)” submitted by MICRUX FLUIDIC S.L. during the year 2021 has been funded by Government of the Principality of Asturias and FICYT.
