Thin-Film Connectors

Various accessories are available for the quick and easy interconnection of thin-film electrodes with analytical instrumentation.

• IDE-CABLE – Connector that acts as an interface between the thin-film interdigitated electrodes (IDE – two contact pads) and any potentiostat, enablingthe use of microvolumes (2–10 μL sample drops) or immersion in a solution. The connector is specifically compatible with interdigitated electrodes (IDE), and is available with two terminal options to better meet the requirements of any instrumentation:
  • 2-mm female banana plugs (includes male adapter).
  • 2-mm male banana plugs (includes crocodile clips).

• TF-CABLE – Connector that acts as a universal interface between all MicruX standard thin-film electrodes (up to four contact pads) and any potentiostat, enabling the use of microvolumes (2–10 μL sample drops) or immersion in solution. The connector is compatible with all standard thin-film electrodes, and is available with two terminal options to better meet the requirements of any instrumentation:
  • 2-mm female banana plugs (includes male adapter).
  • 2-mm male banana plugs (includes crocodile clips).
