Interdigitated Microelectrode Array (IDA)

Metal-based Interdigitated Microelectrodes Arrays (IDA) are fabricated using thin-film technologies on a glass substrate.

  • Four-electrodes approach: two interdigitated WEs with RE and AE fully integrated.
  • IDA electrodes can be used in single- or dual-mode, which enhances microelectrode behavior, improving sensitivity and detection limits.
  • High resolution and precision.

InterDigitated Microelectrode Arrays (IDA) are available in gold or platinum, with various widths and gaps. A standard SU8/PI resin protective layer is used to define the electrochemical cell, allowing for the use of very small sample volumes. IDAs are also available without this passivation layer upon request. Choose the option that best fits your experimental needs.
